How long should we wash our hands for and why? Is bleach more effective than soap?

Everybody should be washing their hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water as often as possible. The soap molecules actually destroy the virus coating, reducing its potential to infect. Bleach is actually as effective as soap and water, so continue using that. If soap and water are not available, alcohol based hand sanitizers work similarly well, with a minimum recommended concentration of 60%. For more information, please watch the attached video.
